Richard - Roof Blok doesn’t have Miami-Dade County Product Approval - apparently their system cannot meet the uplift requirements - our client wanted us to use Roof Blok - and this is why we asked the board for suggestions. It is possible that Roof Blok’s system could be tested for a one time application and receive that approval by Dade County, but for some reason Roof Blok is not interested - my sources tell me that Hanover may have an approved system…but I am still looking for more feedback and this board is one of the best places to find it - so thanks for your help.
Ditto to you Doug…will look at your info as well.
Jerome: None that I know of with pavers on pedistals, but if you want pavers as a finished surface Carlisle has a hot rubberized system with pavers set in a 2-inch mortar bed (Miami-Dade NOA 02-1219.02).
Jerome,
If the project requires the look and feel of pavers, you may want to consider the TClear Corporation product (trade names LightGuard, HeavyGuard) but used to be know as Dow Roofmate CT. It is used as part of an IRMA or protected membrane roofing system. The panels can be mechanically fastened using a variety of methods. Living in the Pacfic NW I have no clue if this insulation product is Dade County acceptable.
