Looking for detailing help on working with formed metal. Sills, Trim, Cladding, etc. I never quite know how to handle concealed fasteners, clips, seams, etc.
Anyone have any goto reference help?

SMACNA Architectural Sheet Metal Manual, Chapter 8 in particular, is a good place to start.
Why do you need to detail to such extent? Why not just show diagrammatically (profiles, returns, joint widths, etc.) what you want and rely on shop drawings for specific (attachment, reinforcing, etc.) details? AIA MasterSpecs Div 05 Decorative Formed Metal, is pretty good covering general/overall fabrication/installation criteria/requirements.
The most basic benefit of the sheet metal manual is that it helps understand how these trims are put together, which allows a better design even if all the attachment is not shown. It’s too easy to draw something that’s very hard to execute well.
