So, whos going to the 2011 CSI Show in Chicago in September? I made my hotel reservations through Hanley Wood yesterday; Hyatt Regency adjacent to McCormick Place. This is the first year that hotel has been on the list (I think).
Im making airplane reservations today (Southwest has some real attractive prices right now; at least from Houston theyre attractive).
Actual Show reservation system wont be available until June. I find that a little curious but not too disconcerting. They do give the dates for Education Sessions (13th 16th) and Exhibit Hall (14th 16th).

Chicago in September should be really nice with average temperatures for the month about 75 degrees (remember the snow in Chicago when we were there in 2003?) and you can catch a Cubs game at Wrigley Field on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after the Show.

I do remember that snow! I’m planning to attend this year in spite of it…

I liked the snow. I thought it was romantic. its not like it stuck around for very long…
(and I think the Hyatt was on the list the first year CSI was in Chicago for that string of years – I remember some functions there.

Sheldon: its romantic to Seattleites because it seldom snows here. where you live, its just drudgery.

on-line registration is finally open. I made my reservation this morning. Of course they want you to “sign up” for specific seminars again so you’ll need to look at the list available on the web site first before you register.
