I have a company out of Europe that wants to develop a CSI 3-part spec - who is currently writing manufacturer’s specs and is interested in the referral?
Michael Chusid.
ROBIN: Guide specs for manufacturers is one of my specialties. Writing guide specs require the ability to balance the needs of the specifier with something that is easy to use with the manufacturer’s interest in the marketing presentation of their product. When done correctly, a guide spec has to anticipate how the document might be used in a wide range of projects, and how it can keep the entire project team out of trouble.
I have worked with many manufacturers from overseas. Some have additional need for technology transfer to US construction conditions and a guide to North American practices. If required, I also assist with market research, product launch strategy, testing programs, and the development of technical sales literature, continuing education programs, and articles for construction industry publications.

ED:Thank you for thinking of me.
