Sliptech

Has anyone used this product on any of their products? It has been around for a while. It would be great if it works.

I have not but I have used other micro-etch technologies. Make sure to do a test patch. It may change the appearance of your floor. Also note that they have a little unintentional misinformation when they say that the gloss finish is what makes floors slippery. Actually with granite and other natural stones, honed and polished finishes get just as slippery when wet.

Foreign substances (usually liquids) make floors slippery. It is difficult to slip on a polished floor that is dry (with dry shoes). Ball bearings, 1/8 inch in diameter can cause slip and fall situations on a thermal finish floor, and I know you can slip and fall on “checker plate” floors. I am very suspicious of these types of products. They do tend to change the appearance (how could they not?). and I simply don’t believe that they do what they say they do in real life situations.
