I wasn’t aware that folks were having problems drawing a sealant joint and that this was such a concern. They must be working on either VERY expensive projects, or very small projects…
By embedding all of the specification parameters each time you call out adhesive, I guarantee that you will get variations that you do not want.
Assuming that you got it all right when originally input if a change it made it will be difficult to find and change all instances.
Because the informatin is distributed it will be difficult for somebody to review what is being used to determine if changes are needed.
The challange is to understand when and how to use BIM to eliminate problems and be more effective. The problem is that it isn’t politically correct.
