My general impression is that RhinoBond is better than mechanically attached. I would talk to the roof system manufacturer if I were you. I think that when they fail, mechanically fastened systems fail more spectacularly than RhinoBond. But talk to your rep. If you don’t have one, or don’t know who the manufacturer will be, talk to Johns Manville’s specifier services.

I know nothing about costs of mechanically attached vs. RhinoBond, but that would be a good thing to investigate, too.
