That section includes fire extinguisher cabinets and first aid supplies. I don’t believe that the section applies to an installation on the roof.

Those are specific sections.
However, there is no rule that you can’t use the Level 2 number, or create your own Level 3 number. Those are safety specialties, are they not?
If these are part of a maintenance system, such as window washing, use Section 11 24 00 - Maintenance Equipment
11 24 23 is Window Washing Systems. Your section number and title should fall somewhere nearby
Div. 11 looks good!
Can also be close to loading dock equipment if it has to do with loading and unloading operations [tank cars, tanker trucks, etc.]
I made a recommendation on www.masterformat.com that this be given a new number and title. My suggestion happened to be 112429 - Facility Fall Protection. There is a number and title 416719 - Plant Fall Protection, but I felt that adding one for facilities would be good.
I urge other MasterFormat users to go to the MasterFormat web site and make recommendations when you come across ideas for improvements.

Will there be narrowscope sections of “Hospital Fall Protection”, “School Fall Protection”, “Big Box Store Fall Protection”, etc.?
Plant Fall Protection will require Collin to make a Division 41 tab; Building Fall Protection (Division 11) won’t.
All kidding aside, I have a project right now where we are specifying the Horizontal Cable Lifeline System (roof-top mounted) in Section 05 15 16 - Steel Wire Rope Assemblies.
Division 41 is Material Processing and Handling Equipment. Fall protection systems for a typical office building, for example, are much more like–and related to–Div 11’s “Maintenance Equipment” than they are to Div 41’s “Mobile Plant Equipment.” The latter includes things like trucks and rail equipment. I’d just prefer to have fall protection be an adjunct of window washing equipment.
