Ladies and gents…
What factory finish system would you recommend for architectural wood casework that will result in a durable (and hopefully lasting) finish and still meet LEED VOC requirements?

Any factory finish. LEED only requires field installed finishes to meet Low VOC requirements.
That is because factory finishes are install in a controlled environment where the workers are protected from the harmful fumes.
There is no LEED VOC requirement for factory finished materials and components. The LEED points for VOC content has to do with FIELD finishing only.
Factory finishing does not need to meet LEED requirements. Only field-applied, interior finishes. Emissions from factory finishing operations is regulated by the EPA and/or local air quality requirements.
Damn…wish I could get answers this quickly from my co-workers! Thanks!
I swear,… Russ and I did not consult before posting.
