DUROPLEX

Has anyone had any experience, positive or not with Duroplex, client wants to apply over concrete tunnel form walls.

Jerry, this is the only Duroplex I know of:

I’ve only used it on gyp board variations and it has worked very well in those applications. I’ve never tried it on concrete or masonry surfaces but their guide spec does address this application - http://www.triarchinc.com/fileshare/doc/TriarchProductDocs/T302_Duroplex.pdf

I normally use acrylic cementitious coatings for this sort of application (Miracote, Texcote, Strongcoat). Still, Triarch has never failed me on a project and I’ve been using their stuff for many years. Usually looks pretty good when it’s done and they used to have pretty good tech resources for architects. Have you contacted them about your application?

Ken, ITS ON MY “TO DO” LIST, just above “organize desk” and “plan vacation”, than again I haven’t been on a vacation in seven years, so you can imagine what my desk looks like!

I prefer to come to 4specs first, this is such a time saving resource, I don’t know what I would do without 4specs - thanks Colin.

And Ken, thanks for your post, I’ll forward the links to my client, this is a client who likes to pick what’s left of my brain, but refuses to pay any additional services.

Sounds like most of the folks I work for.

Vacation? Please define. Not sure what that is.

My desk is organized. I usually know which pile to look in to find just about anything. It’s only after I organize my desk that I can’t find anything.
Good luck!

I agree, Ken; how does one [like Jerome]who resides in South Florida think about vacation much less go on one??? Alaska cruise!

Same oh about my desk, except it is getting harder and harder to even find my deak!

I know that feeling Ralph. I’m about to the point where someone could probably just take away my desk and leave my stuff. At least my stacks would finally not reach as high!

Never trust a guy with a neat desk.

Wow, references to Mac-Mathias (Republican Senator from Maryland when I was considerably younger) and HHH (Senator and then VP Humphrey) tells me that this ageless article has stood the test of time. I wonder how anyone found this. Had to be when cleaning off their desk.
