Like many of you, our firm is continuously evaluating software packages ranging from Productivity, Project Management, QAQC, and Construction Admin. There is definitely a lot of movement in this “AI All The Things” software environment. Frustrating, there is also a lot of overlap, where certain tools might have a best in class feature, and then 10 or 100 other tools that are just kinda afterthoughts, but you pay for them. This makes it harder to justify licensing multiple software packages. I yearn for the days when you simply bought a tool to do a task, and that was it.
I’d be interesting in what software you guys are using and/or reviewing in various categories. Here is what we are currently looking at:

I have been really impressed with SpecSet and Part3. Tonic is always solid, especially compared to Newforma. Pirros is a direct competitor to Avail, and really impressive but OMG Expensive. Asana is the bargain here and works great for PM tasking and RFI/Submittal tracking, but its otherwise quite limited. Cogram is new to me but seems promising.
