Back in 2020, I developed some language for Division 01 that made the Contractor responsible for developing “procedures and controls for protecting personnel from contracting and spreading COVID-19 at the Project site.”

Although several variants of COVIDare still with us, it is no longer the threat that it was.

Has anyone else developed similar language? Do you think that this still should be included as a specification requirement?

I have a similar section in Div 01 dealing with infectious disease. I asked my clients if they still want it, as the federal mandate is expired. They said to keep it in for now.
