I can’t figure out the title. Does it suggest that Deltek intends to replace specifying with AI?

Deltek’s Overarching Goal for Leveraging AI for our Industry: To provide a companion tool for specifiers, enabling them to make more informed decisions and enhancing their expertise on their projects. We have no intention of displacing a specifier or a specification. AI is merely intended to augment the role of a specifier and to help educate.

How it Started: We sought to provide a tool that efficiently and quickly finds information that has historically been buried within the valuable research material of MasterSpec’s Evaluations documents.

Mitigating Risk: In order to provide accurate answers to user prompts, we have isolated the data source for our AI tool to MasterSpec-specific materials. This provides a clean source of information and prevents confusing or inaccurate web-sourced information that can misguide end users.

Security: Deltek is exploring avenues to allow firms to apply AI to their project data and office masters, but we are only using Deltek and AIA-owned intellectual property as a means to prevent unintended data breaches.
