I have a project where we are using polished concrete and are in the need of stainless steel divider strips, or stainless steel concrete screeds, that need to be cast in the concrete slabs, on grade and elevated. These divider strips will remain exposed and are taking the place of control joints in the polished concrete areas.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to a manufacturer of the stainless steel divider strips or screeds that I can specify?

Perhaps these guys will have something. They provide divider strips for pavers and tiles.

Have you checked out the divider strips used in cement terrazzo?
We do quite a bit of terrazzo in our schools. We use zinc strips though.
Kim, you might try the following list [from MasterSpec] but they warn against stainless for Portland cement terrazzo, so your case might be included there.

I would suggest contacting a local terrazzo contractor as they will probably be doing the work anyway.
I have on god authority fro m a contractor I know in Phoenix that stainless steel could be a problem. It may too hard to grind.
we’ll use zinc divider strips rather than stainless steel …I thought there might be a compatibility problem with stainless steel and Portland cement.
